Watch Nicki Minaj Perform On 'SNL,' Rap In Unaired Skit

Saturday Night Live wrapped up its 43rd season in splendor last night (May 19), with Tina Fey on hosting duty and Nicki Minaj as the musical guest. Days before the episode aired, the rapper gave her Barbz some hints of what to expect by revealing she’d be performing “Chun-Li” and a surprise song on the show.

Turns out, the mystery song wasn’t one of Minaj’s at all. She used her second performance to showcase up-and-coming Atlanta rapper Playboy Cardi’s “Poke It Out,” off his new album Die Lit. Minaj has a guest verse on the track. This marked her third appearance as a music guest on the sketch show.

Along with the performances, Minaj also appeared in a skit called “Friendship Song” alongside Fey and cast members Kate McKinnon and Aidy Bryant that was unfortunately cut from the episode, due to time.

"I'll rip up her life, yo get the knife/ Because you're low-key my wife, you're my bitch for life," she raps in the cameo. "You're a 10, she a two, life sucks for her/ Let's punch her in her face and take her jewels/ It's May, we don't play with them April fools.”

Minaj is gearing up to release her fourth studio album, Queen, on June 15. She’s also shooting a movie with Fey called Get Ya Life Ugly, which she promoted via Twitter earlier this week.
