It's now being reported that the man involved in selling drugs to Demi Lovato has had multiple run-ins with the law for drug- and weapons-related charges.

On Wednesday (August 15), TMZ learned that Brandon Johnson — the man who allegedly smoked drugs with Lovato in the hours before her overdose — was previously detained in March after being booked during a bust in North Hollywood, where police found him with a stash of guns, narcotics, and wads of cash.

Per TMZ's story, Johnson allegedly had drugs, a fully loaded semi-automatic handgun and approximately $10,000 at the time of his arrest. That isn't the worst of it, though — more shocking findings were made at the criminal's abode, where Johnson kept more guns, drugs, and ammunition.

His criminal activities continued in June when he was arrested for cocaine possession.

Sources told TMZ Lovato had been in contact with Johnson since April and supplied her with drugs. He's also said to be the person the singer texted to come to her home at 4 AM after leaving a party in WeHo, during which time Lovato had overdosed on freebased Oxycodone potentially laced with fentanyl, the same drug that killed Lil Peep and Prince.

It's also rumored that Johnson was known to distribute dirty drugs from Mexico, and he supposedly fled her residence when he realized she was breathing laboriously in her bed.

However, Johnson has since denied dealing to Lovato, with whom he's apparently been telling friends he's in a "romantic relationship," according to sources who know him.

As for Lovato's health and well-being, per the star's latest update, Lovato has transitorily left a California rehab center to seek additional treatment in a Chicago facility.
