The former One Direction member primed fans for his latest endeavor with the announcement of his new livestream show, titled The LP Show. Payne broke the news on Wednesday (July 8), revealing that the first installment of his virtual experience will kick off next week.
âIâve been working on this for a while now and Iâm so excited to announce Act 1 of âThe LP Showâ, broadcasting in real time on Friday 17th July đđŒ Itâs a new approach to a live-streamed show like you've never seen before, exclusively,â Payne shared on Twitter. âTo produce the show, Iâm working with currently out-of-use venues, a full band, as well as professional sound and lighting engineers currently out of work due to COVID-19 and I canât wait to bring you the first in this series of live broadcasts.â
Per the press release, tickets to Payneâs livestream special start at $10 and will be available on a âpay as you wantâ basis through Veeps on Friday (July 10).
A portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit a donation to The Trussell Trust, a nonprofit with a mission to end hunger and poverty by supporting food banks in the UK. There will also be âThe LP Showâ merch available in select packages, which will be listed on Payneâs website.
As fans know, the announcement comes seven months after the 26-year-old crooner unveiled his debut studio album, LP1, in December 2019. The 10-track effort includes several jams like âStrip That Down,â âGet Low,â Bedroom Floorâ âStack It Upâ featuring A Boogie wit da Hoodie and âLive Foreverâ with Cheat Codes.
