It's National Donut Day. Did you know that the Salvation Army started the holiday back 1938 to honor a group of women who served donuts to soldiers in World War One. They were called the "Donut Lassies," and we can thank them for today's awesome hook up!
Here are a few donut deals you can take advantage of today:
1. Buy any drink at Dunkin' Donuts, and you get one free donut.
2. Score a free donut at Krispy Kreme. No purchase necessary.
3. Head to the bakery section at any Walmart Supercenter, or participating Neighborhood Markets to grab a free donut.
