Friday, March 31, 2023 marked International Transgender Day of Visibility and PRIDE Radio turned over the microphones to help raise awareness for the challenges facing the trans community both in social situations and political situations. I had the chance to sit down and chat with Ultra Nate about her new single "Fierce" which leads "The Fierce Project", a larger movement to help raise awareness and spark conversation among the LGBTQ+ community about how we can help lift up the transgender community. Ultra Nate spoke about using her status in the community to be as loud as possible about ensuring the rights of trans people across the country. Ultra Nate is a legendary ally of the LGBTQ+ community, as you know, and she's partnered with Anthony Preston to produce a one-of-a-kind dance track that you can hear exclusively on PRIDE Radio. She spoke about the motivation behind the single and how it was to work with Angelica Ross and Mila Jam on the track as well.

I also spoke with Moore Kismet. Moore was the youngest DJ to ever perform at EDC Las Vegas and just played Ultra Music Festival in Miami a week ago. Moore is a staunch supporter of trans rights and brings their own unique perspective as a young, queer, non-binary artist on the dance music scene. At just 18 years old, Moore is insightful and full of fight, leading change through their music.
